Sharnel Williams was born and raised in Newark, NJ. I'm a wife, mother, grandmother and author. Over the course of her career, I have published four books, What Do A Mother Do?, A Mother's Worst Nightmare, and the fiction series, I'm Black, He's White. I'm is the host of 'Let's Talk Too' which airs on Blog Talk Radio every Wednesday & Thursday at 6:30 PM EST. My journey as an author began with the death of my son, Shakil Williams. He was diagnosed with Leukemia, a childhood cancer, and died shortly before his 12th birthday. To deal with the pain and devastation, I started to write the heartfelt story, What Do A Mother Do?. Soon, my story became a voice for parents struggling with the same grief. I have since started the Shakil Williams foundation which hosts the Annual Newark Health Fair at the Shakil Williams Playground in Newark NJ's Branch Brook Park. Embarking on a new journey, I had recently released my first fiction novellas, I'm Black, He's White 1&2. It is a romantic story about two people from the opposite side of the fence. All of my books are available in eBook from Amazon's Kindle Store and Barnes and Noble's Nook Store. Readers can also purchase autographed copies from the Web Store of this website.
